About the Role
VicOne is seeking a talented Web Developer to join our team to manage and enhance our company website - https://www.vicone.com. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing website design and creation. This position will work closely with VicOne’s designers and content teams to create user-friendly, visually appealing and high-performing websites. 
The ideal candidate will have experience in .NET solutions, MS SQL databases, and front-end technologies (CSS, JavaScript, single-page design). This role involves both development and administration responsibilities, ensuring the website remains secure, optimized, and up to date.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
Website Development & Maintenance
• Plan, develop, and maintain the VicOne company website, ensuring functionality, security, and performance to establish our leadership image.
• Oversee the full website lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Update website structure and content in response to business needs, analytics insights, and user feedback.
• Work closely with designers and content teams to translate content into a visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing web experience.
Technical Development & Backend Management
• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#).
• Manage and optimize SQL Server databases to support web applications, including query performance optimization and stored procedures.
• Ensure proper website security by collaborating with internal teams to implement security best practices.
Troubleshooting & Support
• Monitor and troubleshoot website issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain uptime and user satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging web technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)
• Proven experience in .NET development (ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#).
• Strong MS SQL database management skills (query optimization, stored procedures).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience with single-page application (SPA) design.
• Familiarity with website security best practices.
• Basic understanding of server administration and hosting environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have
• Experience with Azure or AWS hosting environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Umbraco).
• Understanding of SEO and web analytics.
