工作內容

We are looking for self-motivated teachers who enjoy working with elementary-age children and who understand that learning is a basic human right.  We need teachers who are positive and energetic, who keenly collaborate with colleagues, and who are good at managing their time.  We are a bilingual elementary school with a large campus near the hills in Tanzi District, Taichung.
Positions:
1) Science teacher (instruction in English) for ESL 2 and ESL 5 – students in Chinese grades 2, 3, 5, 6.
2) English teacher for the following subjects: ESL 1 and ESL 2 Listening & Speaking; ESL 4 Reading; ESL 6 Writing
3) English teacher for the following subjects: Pre-ESL Science; ESL 4 Listening & Speaking; ESL 5 Writing
Working hours: 
• Mon – Fri 8am-4pm (with a lunch break around noon).  We have weekend activities only twice a semester, though we also have to follow the government when they call for make-up classes on a Saturday.  
Location: 
• Tanzi District, Taichung
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• We can provide a work permit, health insurance and ARC, if needed
Responsibilities:
1) Follow a syllabus per subject to cover all assigned materials
2) Issue and mark homework and projects
3) Prepare students for assessments (exams)
4) Prepare assessments for one subject
5) Mark all assessments taken by your assigned classes
6) Record all scores for homework and assessments in the school’s database
7) Write comments for 4 classes once per semester
