# About the job and responsibilities
(What you’ll be doing)

You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our internal infrastructure and AI/GPU data center that supports our MLOps platform. In this role you will:

- Maintain and administer on‑premises servers, virtualization platforms (k8s/KVM/OpenStack), storage arrays, and backup systems
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and manage VLANs, VPNs, and load balancers
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls—including patch management, vulnerability scanning, SIEM monitoring, and incident response
- Coordinate data center operations for GPU racks and power/cooling systems, including rack‐and‐stack, cable management, and hardware lifecycle
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using Ansible, Terraform, or other IaC tools
- Monitor system health and capacity (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), generate alerts, and drive remediation
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Customer Success teams to support deployments, upgrades, and incident resolution


# Minimum qualifications
(What we need to see)

- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or data center operations for enterprise environments
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL, Ubuntu) and familiarity with Windows Server
- Hands‑on networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, firewalls
- Experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi, KVM/QEMU) and container platforms (basic Kubernetes administration)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills


# Preferred qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Direct experience managing GPU‑accelerated data center hardware (e.g., Gigabyte AI Factory deployments)
- Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Expertise with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD integration
- Experience with monitoring and log‑aggregation stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, Loki)
