1. A doctoral degree in social sciences, policy sciences, or a related field from an institution recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Both Taiwanese and international applicants are welcome.
2. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses in sociology, social work, social policy, and/or public policy. Ability to teach in English is highly desirable.
3. Strong commitment to teaching and service, teamwork, and potential for interdisciplinary research.
4. Ability to publish in international academic journals.

2. Curriculum vitae. Please identify publications indexed in SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, Scopus, ESCI, TSSCI, THCI, EI, or other relevant databases. The CV should include educational and professional experience, research areas, courses the applicant can teach, research projects, and the names and contact information of two references.
3. Up to five representative or supporting scholarly publications. Applicants who received their doctoral degree within the past three years must include their doctoral dissertation.

5. Two letters of recommendation.
6. Copy of the doctoral degree certificate and transcripts from master’s and doctoral programs. Applicants with degrees from institutions outside Taiwan must have their diploma and transcripts authenticated by the appropriate Taiwan overseas representative office. Applicants who have not yet received their doctoral diploma may submit a provisional degree certificate indicating the expected graduation date.
7. Copy of the Teacher Certificate issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, if applicable.
8. Applicants who hold a valid Assistant Professor or higher Teacher Certificate may omit the two letters of recommendation, doctoral dissertation, and master’s and doctoral transcripts.
