3. Material testing and validation for space-based fiber optic components, including launch and on-orbit testing.
4. Development of fiber optic communication modules for space exploration missions, including material testing and validation for harsh space environments.

  We are seeking candidates with strong academic backgrounds in related fields such as optics, physics, electrical engineering, and materials science who hold a PhD degree. Experience working in the field of optical fibers is preferred.
  
  We are looking for candidates with a solid foundation in physics and the ability to be self-learning, as well as proficiency in the use of optoelectronic test equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on work.
