A new product idea emerges, a project is set up, and you begin brainstorming product designs with the ID team. You are involved from inception to mass production.

You start by discussing the concept with the ID team and CEO, receiving live feedback from colleagues to steer details. During conception, the Mechanical Engineer (ME) and Electrical Engineer (EE) provide input on technical feasibility.

You present three design directions, take in feedback, filter ideas, and refine the concept through multiple loops until the final design is settled. The ME and EE are consulted for specifics, while you create the mechanical 3D design, prepare the Color Material Finish (CMF) document, and work with the project manager on the Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturer communication.

When ready, the design is sent to the manufacturer. Feedback rounds, detail adjustments, sample creation, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) follow before tooling begins. Meanwhile, packaging and design colleagues develop product concepts, with your input ensuring alignment with Wooting’s goals.

The Design Validation Tests (DVT) phase is the defining moment to review the product, finalize golden samples, make last changes, and set quality standards with the technical project manager to ensure product integrity.

As mass production begins, you oversee the process on-site, catching minor issues before products reach customers. Even after launch, you stay involved in discussions, solutions, and product evolution. Your enthusiasm for computer peripherals, design, and the target audience is key to Wooting’s success—because great products are forged by passionate people.

Job Details
- Develop product concepts and 3D designs with the ID team, CEO, and engineers, refining through live feedback.
- Maintain CMF documentation; work with PM to finalize the BOM for smooth manufacturer communication.
- Collaborate with manufacturers through DFM, feedback rounds, and sample iterations.
- Lead the DVT phase to finalize golden samples and quality standards.
- Oversee mass production on-site, resolving issues promptly.
- Address product feedback and support continuous improvements across the lifecycle.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams: ID designers, vendor/technical PMs, MEs, EEs, and product managers.

Requirements
- Proficiency in 1 CAD software (PTC CREO preferred or SolidWorks).
- 5+ years relevant experience, or 3+ years in consumer electronics.
- Proven track record from design to mass production.(Must have)
- Rendering skills with Keyshot or C4D; knowledge of plastic injection, CNC aluminum, and basic mechanical design.
- English: Intermediate (You have strong English communication skills, though you sometimes make minor pronunciation or grammar mistakes.)
- Mandarin Chinese: Fluent.

Remote work/geographical
- Located in Taiwan, freely choose to work from home or office in: Taichung or Taipei.

Salary and benefits
- Full-time position (40 hours)
- Monthly starting salary of NTD$70~95k based on experience.
- 20 paid holidays per year excluding the Taiwan National Holidays
