[Job summary]
The PEGAAi Backend Software Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of backend developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend services and systems.
As a team lead, you will guide the architectural decisions, create and enforce software developing & CI/CD processes, and drive the team towards successful AI products.

[Key Responsibilities]
1. Lead, mentor, and support a team of backend developers to foster a high-performance culture.
2. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services.
3. Collaborate with project managers and developers to align backend services with business goals and customer needs.
4. Ensure code quality and system reliability through regular code reviews and test-driven development process.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
6. Report on team performance, project progress, and deliverables to senior management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing a team of software developers.
  • Strong proficiency in Python language and related frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.
  • Experience with cloud services and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.
